Operation Warm-Up is a non-denominational, non-profit, once a year, short term mission trip of delivering coats, blankets, and the love of Jesus Christ to our brothers and sisters in Appalachia. Operation Warm-Up began in 1989 in Charlotte, North Carolina with just five youth making the trip. Recent trips have grown to over 300 volunteers who provided physical comfort and the love of Christ to an estimated 700 families…all in one weekend!

Operation Warm-Up is designed to give youth the opportunity not only to participate in but lead in its missions activities. Operation Warm-Up’s Timothy Project provides a hands-on environment for practical application of student spiritual gifts. It is for students interested in developing their Christian leadership skills. The program is a grass roots experience in which students learn how mission-minded organizations function to further advance Christ’s Kingdom.
